If you ordered bowling night t-shirts, your student can pick them up in Mr. Lucas's classroom B216 on Monday, October 3rd, or Tuesday, October 4th.  Any shirts not picked up will be handed out during bowling night.

Mark your calendars for the SHHS Class of 2024 Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21st, 6-11pm, at the Garden City Fire Company! Join us for an evening of food, games, music and fun for the whole family! All proceeds benefit the SHHS Class of 2024 After Prom.

• Beer Garden and Wine Wall

• Raffle Baskets and Silent Auction Items

• Kids Zone - Games, Prizes, Face Painting, Photo Props, and more ($10 entrance fee per child, $5 each additional child)

• Fun with Garden City Fire Company’s fire trucks from 6-7pm

There will be many chances throughout the year to work closely with our students.  The administration is reminding us to get volunteer clearances completed early.  Additional information and clearance forms can be found on the WSSD website by clicking here.

Background clearance are required for ALL applicants:

1. State Criminal Clearance - https://www.psp.pa.gov/Pages/Criminal-History-Background-Check.aspx
2. Child Abuse Clearance - www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home 
3. Act 24 Volunteer Affirmation Statement - Click here for form
4. TB Test results less than 3 months old if you volunteer more than 10 hours per week

Applicants who have not resided in Pennsylvania for the last 10 consecutive years must complete and submit the first three clearances listed above in addition to the following clearance:

Paper clearances dropped off or mailed to any district building will no longer be accepted, effective September 10, 2023.
