The 7th Grade is hosting their third annual Spooky Run on Halloween on Friday, October 30th. We will be using the outdoor track for a run/walk and will also be having a costume contest for the students!  Please see the signup genius for more details and volunteer/donation opportunities!!

Save the Date for the 5th Annual Bowling Night on Saturday, October 24th at Sproul Lanes. Scan the QR code for ticket purchasing information. This is open to all grades and raises funds for the 8th grade service project. Students can also buy tickets for a chance to win a raffle basket at the event. Proceeds go to the service project. SHMS Volleyball Night is Monday 11/2 at 6pm. Come to play or come to watch!

Sign up sheets are outside of the library and in the gym.

Cost is $5 per person. Teams can have a minimum of six players and a maximum of 10. 

The first 16 teams that are fully paid will be accepted. Please make sure to only turn your forms and money to Mr. Mossor or it will not be accepted. This event is for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

Musical Interest Meeting 10/20

There will be an informational meeting for any student wishing to be part of the cast or crew of Strath Haven's 2027 Musical on Tuesday 10/20 from 2:30-3pm in the auditorium. Come for the big reveal and audition information. See Ms. Elsheakh with any questions. You don't want to miss this one! Personally, I am VERY excited for this year's show!

Each concert will begin at 7pm, and report time for students will be 6:30pm. Dress code is "concert black"- black tops, black bottoms, black shoes. Think dressy!

Please join us on Thursday, November 19th at 7 pm in the middle school library for our next Home and School Meeting.  ALL are welcome to attend!  Dr. Matsanka will be there to give school updates and answer any questions and we will also hear updates from our grade reps and committee chairs. Expect meetings on the third Thursday of each month.

In order to volunteer for events and activities at SHMS (concessions, musical, dances, book fair, etc...), ALL volunteers need their clearances on file with the school district. Please submit these now, as opportunities come up quickly and it's good to have them in place now. If you are unsure of your status, please contact Heather Fili at hfili@wssd.org
