Teacher Appreciation Week - Send a Message

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. In years past we asked families to come out to the middle school and fill our sidewalks with messages to our teachers.

This year we invite our SHMS families and students to email your thank you messagesto the teachers by sending them (strathhavenmshsa@gmail.com) directly to the HSA. We will then stream these messages on the TV monitors throughout the school all next week.

Show your appreciation by sending a message. Last day to send in a message will be Sunday, May 7.

School Lunch Hero Day - May 5

Thank you to the SHMS Cafeteria workers, our school lunch heroes! Thank you for all that you do! Your hard work, patience, and care keep our children healthy and fueled!

PSSA Puppies!

Do you know what helps PSSA's go a little easier?! PUPPIES! Students were and will be treated to some puppy therapy to help make the day a little less "ruff"!

Last night was the first SHMS Fine and Applied Arts Night, spring edition. They all sounded amazing! We are so proud of every single one of them. Also, before and after the concert be sure to check out all the beautiful works of art that our middle school students have created.

Hope everyone is enjoying the spring season.

The eighth grade dance celebration -A Night In Paris - is on the horizon and everyone is getting ready and excited for the upcoming FUN!

All eighth grade students are welcome to come and hang out, dance, mingle, have fun with friends, enjoy some French flair decor, plenty of photo opps and light refreshments. Ooooh la la!

Dance Date: Thursday, June 15th

Ticket Price: $20.00 per student per ticket

** If you need any financial assistance for ticket purchase, please contact 8th grade guidance counselor Mrs. Domsky or 8th grade administrator Dr. Matsanka.

When: During 8th grade lunch (10:20-10:55AM)

Registration for the WSSD Summer Music has begun! All the information on program description & registration process is found in this WSSD Summer Music Program 2023 Brochure.

This summer's schedule has been arranged so that each instrument level will be on campus at SHMS for a 2.5hr session on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Please check the link above for schedule details & you can register via this Google form

*If you register for our 2023-2024 season now until JUNE 5TH, you will receive $50 off your tuition. Deposit must be paid in order to get discount. Here is the Link for registration
