Did you know that we have less than 2 months left in the school year? PSSAs and spring concerts (see dates below) and a lot of exciting end-of-year events are all coming up! That also means we only have 2 more in-person HSA meetings left! Meet us at the middle school library on Thursday, 4/20 at 7pm where you will hear an update from Dr. Matsanka, and each grade rep. We are here to answer any questions you may have.
The HSA is looking for a few volunteer positions to fill. The two officers positions we are looking to fill are the co-chair and receiving treasure positions. We are looking for a co-chair to work alongside the amazing Stacey Peki to support school initiatives and events which will benefit our students and staff.

Do you hear how much the HSA raised from the first Coin Challenge? $1617.19! Thank you to the whole student body for an amazing fundraiser. The HSA will be purchasing three benches for the front of the middle school.

8th grade: Mr. Ko's class raised $46.32; 7th grade: Ms. Confer's class raised $96.47; 6th grade: Mr. Baer's class raised $292.11!
Autism Acceptance Month
April is Autism Acceptance Month. The theme, “Celebrate Differences,” will be running for its 5th year. Join us as we raise awareness to promote autism acceptance, to celebrate each individual's unique differences, and to foster inclusivity and connectedness.

Registration for the WSSD Summer Music has begun! All the information on program description & registration process is found in this WSSD Summer Music Program 2023 Brochure.
This summer's schedule has been arranged so that each instrument level will be on campus at SHMS for a 2.5hr session on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Please check the link above for schedule details & you can register via this Google form
