Dear SHMS HSA Families,

And that's a wrap! Congratulations to all the hardworking cast members, crew, pit crew, ushers, and everyone involved in Shrek the Musical. This production was phenomenal! We have an amazing group of talented middle schoolers. They gave it their all in every single show.

The Wallingford School Music Association (WSMA) applauds all the hardworking efforts, dedication, and commitment of the cast, crew, directors, choreographers, set designers/builders, and the many others who helped behind the scenes to allow this musical come to life on the stage!

Special thanks to WSMA middle school reps Jenn Garfall and Jen Griffin as well as parent Sara O’Reilly for bringing the musical program & playbill together!

And thank you to the ushers and volunteers who helped with the concession stands! Each night was a sold out show so you can imagine how many pretzels, water, candy and cookies were sold during intermission.

Flannel PJ Pants

From now until February 22nd, we will be taking pre-orders on the flannel pajama pants. They are $28 and comes in Adult XS - XXL. Payment must be made during check out. Items will be available by the end of February through the beginning of March.

If paying by cash or check, please drop payment off to the middle school office and be sure to fill out an order from. Or you may place your order through our school store.

If you purchased other items with your pajama pants order, you can pick those items at the front office before the pants come in. Just give it a day or two to be filled.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser

You still have time to purchase a voucher if you haven't done so. We are extending the Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser to February 13.

If you placed your order before noon on Monday, February 6, your voucher will be given to your student on February 13 (just in time for Valentine's day).

Voucher orders placed between February 6 - 13 will be delivered on Monday, February 20.

- Please drop off cash or check to the front office and label it "Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser."

- Fill out this form to ensure the delivery of your voucher

- Vouchers may be used at their Springfield, Ardmore, King Of Prussia, and Collegeville locations.

Mark your calendars for the annual SHMS Staff vs. Students Basketball Night, Thursday, February 16, 6:30pm at SHMS gym. Come out and watch our teachers and students play some ball against each other. Pre-game music performances and half court shot contests will also be happening. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

$5 entrance fee. Tickets will go on sale soon and can be purchased at the door.

All monies raised at this year's event will go towards the Kisses for Kyle Foundation, the 8th grade service project.

The 8th grade class is asking for some donations for their concession stand. If you can help out, please check out the Signup Genius for items needed.

In addition, we will be selling spirit wear during basketball night: sweatshirts, joggers, screen printed t-shirts, shorts and more!

The HSA is collecting empty, clean, 2 liter bottles for our coin drive fundraiser at the end of the month. More details on the fundraiser to come. The bottles can be dropped off in the bin outside of the office. Please drop them off by February 24. Greatly appreciated!

Direct Donations

To date, we have collected $5288! While our annual donation goal is $10,000 (which would be the total amount if at least half of all SHMS families donated $25), our budget currently requires at least $7000 from our direct donation campaign to fund the end of year events. We need your help to get there!

With your donations we are able to support events such as Morning at the Middle School, Art Goes to School, and Career Day. We are also able to host teacher appreciation coffees, support the end-of-year celebrations and purchase yearbooks for students in need.

For 2023 contributions, check with your employer to see if they offer donation-matching. You may make an online donation via PayPal or QR code, or you can drop off or mail cash/check (payable to “SHMS HSA”) at the main office (200 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford. PA 19086). Haven Lacrosse t-shirts
